- Adult ticket 1,000 yen from 1 October 2026 (previously 500 yen); junior high school age and younger free; Nagoya City seniors 300 yen with handbook.
- The Honmaru Palace is included in the castle ticket. Shoes off, no flash, no food or drink, no air conditioning or toilet inside.
- Payment at the gate: cash, major credit cards, transit IC cards (Suica, ICOCA, PASMO), iD. The official fee page also links to a web ticket.
- Trial 1-28 February 2027: only the Honmaru area is paid; the rest of the grounds is free (City of Nagoya press release, 14 October 2026).

- 'Nagoya Castle is closed': only the keep is closed; the grounds, Honmaru Palace and turrets are open daily except at New Year.
- 'Climb the keep' in older tour descriptions is out of date: the keep has been closed since May 2018.
- The admission price is 1,000 yen for adults from 1 October 2026, not 500 yen.
- Shiyakusho Station is now called Nagoyajo Station (M07).
- The keep you see is a 1959 concrete reconstruction; the stone walls and three corner turrets are original.
